On January 15th, 2016, Clay and Paper is happy to announce it’s first “Too Short To Suck” – an undoubtedly entertaining evening of never-before-seen works-in-progress!
This is an evening dedicated to the sharing of new theatrical performances and projects in the making by local street performers, puppeteers, and theatre practitioners. In the style of “Too Short to Suck”, these artists are given 10 minutes or less to perform their in-progress works, whether that be a shadow play or a monologue, an accordion song or clowning.
We invite you to join us as a lovely audience member to provide the artists with a low-pressure, friendly environment.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
This is our invitation to you to perform short, work-in-progress or experimental pieces that fall somewhere within the categories of puppetry and/or street theatre. We are especially interested in works that vibe with the C&P thematic canon, but are welcoming of all.
Anyone interested in performing, please e-mail Kristi White at firstname.lastname@example.org before January 10 with a short description of your proposed performance (max. 250 words). The time allotted to each performer is 2-10 minutes. The admissions fee for non-performing audience members will be split among the performers.
Feel free to spread this invitation to folks who may be interested in performing
