Ground For Goodness – Ottawa Valley

For our first actual touring and travelling gig since COVID struck, Ruth went to the Ottawa Valley from August 17 to 23, and worked with 8 creative companions on a local experimental iteration of Grounds for Goodness. This included an introductory session hosted by long-time Jumblies friend, Ann Pohl, 3 afternoons at a wonderful outdoor-indoor venue in Killaloe called the Reading Room, and a culminating afternoon and public live-streamed installation and performance at Studio Dreamshare in Pembroke.

This Ottawa Valley episode of Grounds for Goodness was supported by touring funds from the Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts, and Ontario Trillium Foundation funds for our Community Arts Exchange program.
