Jumblies OAC Recommender Grants for Theatre Creators
We are inviting applications for theatre projects in development that:
– have a core community-engaged arts component: involving ‘non-arts’ participants in collaborative creation with professional artists, and
– can be broadly construed as theatre or performance-based.
We particularly encourage applications that:
– combine disciplines, forms and traditions, and
– come from artists from equity-seeking groups and/or non-Toronto regions of Ontario.
Applications will be assessed according to these criteria and priorities and for their artistic merit and interest.
For applicants who face barriers of language or literacy, application support and alternative approaches can be requested from Jumblies.
Grants will vary from $1,000 to $2,000, and we have $5,000 total to recommend.
Deadline: Midnight, December 10th, 2021
Notification: mid-January, 2022
To Apply: Read the OAC guidelines at: https://www.arts.on.ca/grants/recommender-grants-for-theatre-creators . Then log into their Nova Portal and start a Recommender Grant for Theatre Creators application. And then pick Jumblies from the roster.
