Join us for found poetry, spoken word, performative story weaving, and small scale cardboard building lead by Ange Loft and the Talking Treaties artist team.

Working with words and images from interviews and response text, we will find new ways of sharing and recording our personal relationships to Treaties in Toronto. We will also build small scale representations of rejuvenating and “sacred spaces” which will become part of future video art and re-mappings.

Our public and free arts-based research activities we will build toward a large scale performance in Summer 2017. Lend us your voice, hands, ideas, and hopes to deepen and diversify understanding of Treaties in Toronto.

Talking Treaties is a collaboration between Jumblies Theatre and First Story, and is graciously funded by Canada Council for the Arts.
