The Gather Round Singers, our community choir for all ages and abilities, continues to rehearse on Thursdays from 6 to 8pm at The Ground Floor (132 Fort York Blvd). New members always welcomed!
In December and January Jumblies is partnering with Theatre Direct and the Community Arts Guild to develop an interactive musical show called What Was My Backyard? in a touring form that combines our community choir with primary school classes, and present it in our own building and at a school in Scarborough.
We will also be hosting two artist residencies at The Ground Floor: Eleanor Albanese from Thunder Bay in February, and Propellor Dance from Ottawa in March. Both will include workshops for artists and community members.
We will also be taking two of our Artfare workshops to northern Ontario locations: Thunder Bay (with Mindful Makers) and Algoma Region (with Thinking Rock Community Arts).
